People who work in highly dynamic and intense jobs or work environments can be governed by emotions or expediency vs effective outcomes in communications. We can often struggle with the goal of an interaction and the passion and purpose that compels us to act in this space. During the workshop, participants will learn the following concepts and gain proficiency in the tools to achieve successful communications and interactions:

• Understanding the 3 guiding principles of compelling communications: values, emotions, and common ground.
• Employing the principles of effective communications
• Understanding yourself and the personal traps that can hinder effective influence and impact.
• The importance of empathy in understanding your audience and stakeholders.
